I am a VFX Supervisor with more than 25 years of experience. Since joining  Framestore in 2000, I have contributed to some of the world's most acclaimed films and franchises. My portfolio includes work on Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, and Alfonso Cuarón's multi-award-winning Gravity.
Most recently, I completed work on Lord & Miller’s Project Hail Mary, released in March 2026.
On Gravity, I collaborated closely with director Alfonso Cuarón, VFX Supervisor Tim Webber, and Director of Photography Emmanuel "Chivo" Lubezki. Together, we developed pioneering techniques and software used in the film's production. My responsibilities included supervising the tech-vis and developing new tools, overseeing the on-set operation of motion control robots and the LED lightbox. For my work on the film's exterior environments, I was honoured with a VES Award for Outstanding Created Environment in a Live Action Feature Motion Picture.
In 2017, I served as VFX Supervisor on Ridley Scott's Alien: Covenant, where I played a key role in resurrecting the iconic ‘facehugger’ and applying my expertise to the film’s zero-gravity sequences. My extensive on-set experience has also seen me supervise shoots for the BAFTA-nominated Paddington 2, Amazon Studios’ The Aeronauts, Gil Kenan's Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, and Bong Joon Ho’s Mickey 17.
I led Framestore’s visual effects work on Marvel’s box office phenomenon Avengers: Endgame, as well as A Boy Called Christmas for Netflix/StudioCanal, and delivered a technically demanding sequence for Venom: Let There Be Carnage.
Prior to joining Framestore, I earned a PhD and spent a decade as a research physicist. This background has equipped me with a deep technical understanding and strong problem-solving skills, which I bring to every project.
I am a  member of BAFTA.
