Visual Effects Supervisor
I supervised over 300 shots, Framestore's contribution to this epic Marvel blockbuster.
We were changed with breathing life into Smart Hulk, channeling of Mark Ruffalo's performance to give a nuanced performance with emotion and comedy. Machine Learning was used to process Ruffalo's performance to provide a quick first pass of animation that could be used to populate the edit. Keyframe animation was then deployed for over 60 Smart Hulk shots, with head cam footage from the shoot used for reference.
We gave Rocket an overhaul and a new costume for his comedy moments with Thor in Asgard.
The Avenger's Quantum suits were fully CG, no practical costumes ever having been made. We tailored the costume to fit each of the Avengers distinct body shapes and based the suit's manifestation on the Iron Man suit effect Framestore developed for Avengers: Infinity War.
